The Practical Astronomy Show

The Practical Astronomy Show is a one-day show normally held at the Kettering Conference and Exhibition Centre.

The show aims to bring a selection of leading astronomy businesses, organisations and educational institutions together under one roof, for one day. Astronomy products and services will be available for purchase from various stands.

The show is free to attend, and there will be free talks* about the practical aspects of astronomy, with an emphasis on using and getting the best out of astronomy products.

Societies

Perton Library Astronomy Group

The group meets at Perton Library on the 3rd Thursday of every month between 7pm – 9pm. It’s a small, friendly group open to everyone with an interest in astronomy, and it is completely free. If the sky is clear there will be some observing outside.

The meetings are now running again since the restrictions have been lifted.
