Perseids meteor shower observing event. DATE CHANGED!
11 Aug at 7:00 pm – 11:30 pm
The peak of the Perseid meteor shower is in the early hours of the morning of Sunday the 13th August, so Saturday the 12th presents the best opportunity for viewing, subject to suitable weather conditions. It may be moved to one of the days either side, depending on the forecast.
This event is for members (and their families) only and is being held at the site of the society’s observatory.
